Across the Country - Schools Still Lacking School Nurses

School nurses provide a critical safety net for our nation's most fragile children and protect children and their communities from infectious diseases. Yet only 13 states meet the government recommended student-to-school nurse ratio of 1:750 well students, the National Association of School Nurses reports.
