Association of Children’s Museums offer places of promise for young people
In the fight against childhood obesity, Houston, TX stands out in an unfavorable way: Almost half of the city's fourth-graders are overweight or at-risk of becoming so. What may seem like a small step in retrospect grew into a behemoth of a project when the Children's Museum of Houston created a Healthy Minds, Healthy Bodies kiosk that traveled among Houston public libraries.
