A new UNICEF report from Donald J. Hernandez, Suzanne Macartney, and Victoria L. Blanchard, presents international data on children of immigrants in Australia, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Children in Immigrant Families in Eight Affluent Countries: Their Family, National and International Context provides detailed information on the children and calls for promoting policies that foster civic participation, promote access to education and employment, ensure access to appropriate housing and reduce poverty.

A roundtable discussion to be held in Brussels on Tuesday, June 1, will focus on policies to foster social inclusion and civic integration of children of immigrants.
