If you think college is a good deal, you need to read my summary of "Academically Adrift" http://bit.ly/mkwKxq. Most undergraduate education doesn't do much to support critical thinking, problem solving, and writing skills. Kids work harder in high school, professor who are jusdged by students give easy grades and expect little. This is a crime given the cost. Douglas W. Green, EdD
