Conversation Good for Young Children's Learning

Research shows that children's cognitive abilities are strongest if their parents use many words in speaking to them. A 2009 UCLA study reported in Pediatrics confirms that young children develop better learning skills the more adults talk with them in back-and-forth conversation.
