Many of us may already see clearly the strengths, hopes, and dreams of youth and work to actively engage them as an asset in the community.  At the same time, it is also important for us to recognize many of the systems we are embedded in may have a different orientation that impacts the way our communities see, talk about, and respond to youth.

We have an opportunity be aware of the stories that are told and how often they are told in our organizations, partnerships, systems, and communities and work to actively introduce new stories. Most importantly we can engage and support youth to ‘flip the script’ and weave new narratives of strength that support their roles as active social change agents in our communities.

In this webinar Generations United will discuss the power of youth to effect social change that addresses issues across ages and across cultures. We will share how we have been working with an amazing group of youth in Antioch, CA that have shown us how they can be active social change agents in our communities.
