En Camino: Educational Toolkit for Hispanic Families
The National Center for Family Literacy (NCFL) is helping to ensure that despite the
achievement gap in K-12, Hispanic students have equal access and success in
college as their white counterparts. As part of its effort to encourage
Hispanic students to pursue post-secondary education, NCFL recently released a
free educational toolkit designed to guide Hispanic families through the
process of applying for college and navigating the college system.
The
resources are intended to help Hispanic parents who are
English language learners and first-generation college students understand the
transition to postsecondary education so they can help their own children
prepare for college.
