Getting Along Together: Developing Social Competence in Young Children
Childhood is the time for children to learn how to get along with others. Our challenge is to help each child begin to develop into a socially-competent person who can express his own feelings, empathize with others' feelings, and be cooperative, generous and kind. This guide, from the PBS Whole Child series, is designed for parents, caregivers and professionals and includes some first-hand input from young children themselves.

Breadth of information is great. I am anxious to pass this on to friends.
Content will appeal to students, family child care providers, teachers, board members alike. I will use this site for teaching resources.
