Are the young people in your community and state ready for college, work and life? Do your neighborhoods offer enough supports for all kids, year-round? If not, the Ready by 21 Leader Network can help. This online resource, launched today by the nonprofit Forum for Youth Investment (which manages SparkAction), provides tools, resources and case studies to help state and local leaders improve youth services and supports.

Ready by 21 is a set of innovative, field-tested strategies that focus on achieving change through broader partnerships, bigger goals, better data and bolder actions. Those strategies are being carried out in communities and states around the country with support from the Forum and the Ready by 21 National Partnership – a team of national organizations from the fields of education, government, nonprofit, business, research and philanthropy.

The new Ready by 21 website makes those resources available to all leaders working to improve services and supports for young people – both those who are in designated Ready by 21 communities and those who want to implement selected strategies on their own. Those who register for the Leader Network (for free) get access to Ready by 21 toolkits, facilitation guides, case studies and multimedia products created by the National Partners.
