Mentoring, Educational and Employment Strategies at Dangerous Schools

Grant: To reduce violence within high schools designated as persistantly dangerous through strateigies that combine mentoring, education, employment, case management and violence reduction.

Funder: U.S. Department of Labor.

Eligibility: Either school districts or community-based organizations.

Deadline: September 22, 2009

Amount: $34 million for grants with amounts depending on the size of the school.
