More States Passing Laws That Address Childhood Obesity
More states passed laws to address nutrition, physical activity and physical education in schools in 2010 than 2009. And nationally, there was more legislation last year centered on farm-to-school programs and farmers’ markets than in 2009, according to a new report by the National Conference of State Legislatures.
