Here's an interactive site with news, tools and ideas about media, government, nonprofits and politics. PoliticsOnline calls itself "the oldest political Internet company"—it was founded in 1996—but there's nothing old news about a lot of the resources you'll find on this site. (Nonpartisan and global.)

POL began as a division of Phil Noble and Associates (www.pnoble.com) a political and public affairs consulting firm that has worked on campaigns in more than 40 states and 33 countries. 

But that fancy-pants background isn't what impressed us. No, we're much more excited by the tools you'll find, the thoughtful blog posts and the annual e-Democracy Awards given out to efforts we can all learn from.
