We all know how much influence peers can have over each other. Adolescents’ willingness to act on behalf of others is something parents and educators can influence. Dr. Amy Syvertsen, our newest research scientist at Search Institute, shared two studies at the Society for Prevention Research meeting on the role parents and schools play in adolescents’ willingness to act on behalf of others.
