In support of National Drug Facts Week (NDFW), Jan. 27 - Feb. 2, we're looking for young people who are informing and empowering their peers to stay healthy and cool. The most-shared nominations are in the running to be named Top 24 Under 24 Drug Mythbusters during NDFW, so share your story and spread the word by Jan. 17!

It's Time to Raise the Age in New York
New York is one of only two states in the country where youth age 16 and older are prosecuted as adults, even for minor crimes. The antiquated law is still in place despite the research that has demonstrated that this practice jeopardizes public safety by increasing recidivism rates. Send a letter ---- already drafted for you by the Raise the Age campaign ---- to Governor Cuomo urging him to raise the age today.

VIDEO: From Gang Member to World Changer
The Juvenile Justice Information Exchange spoke with 21-year-old James Anderson, a program assistant at the Anti-Recidivism Coalition. He recalls his life as a gang member in prison with no family, no desire to reform and no future ---- until one person showed him love. Anderson now dedicates his life to helping others in the juvenile justice system get on the right path.
