VIDEO: Senators and College Students Unite to Fight for Pell Grants

Senators Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) and Ben Cardin (D-MD), joined eight university presidents from institutions with significant minority populations to highlight the importance of Pell Grants to the nation's economic prosperity. Pell Grants are especially vital for Hispanic and African-American students, who often come from hard working low-income families, making the program key to their graduation prospects, their future economic success and America’s overall competitiveness.  See the press conference in the video below.
