The War on Voting Weakens Youth Power
The Wisconsin legislature has passed the most restrictive Voter ID bill in the country, sending a bill to Gov. Scott Walker that could potentially disenfranchise nearly 50 percent of all voters under the age of 25. Rob “Biko” Baker, executive director of the League of Young Voters Education Fund, says the multiple attacks on young voters’ rights is personal for him, and has big political risks for his generation, and the country.
