Calls for a Better Budget for Children

Last week the House of Representatives and the Senate Finance Committee each approved their version of a federal budget blueprint. A full Senate vote is next, then a conference to resolve differences. With states weighing cuts to schools, health care and child care, the federal budget is of keen interest to child advocates.
