Youth Links USA: Deleting the Digital Divide
In Detroit, the Youth LINKS program is offering hundreds of inner-city youth the opportunity to be exposed to and trained in the latest computer technology. Since May 2000, Youth LINKS has raised $12 million in in-kind services, much of it donated by Silicon Valley’s biggest technology companies, aimed at eradicating technological illiteracy and creating opportunities for its students.
