National Crime Prevention Council
www.weprevent.org
hosted by NCPC’s mascot, McGruff,
this site not only offers suggestions
for adults to help make their neighborhoods safer, but has pages for children, teens and youth workers. The children’s page features games teaching general rules of safety with McGruff’s nephew, Scruff. It also includes links for adults working with kids. The teen page gives teenagers suggestions to help prevent crime in their neighborhoods. It also includes examples of things teens have done to help reduce crime. This site is educational and relevant for youth and youth workers.
